We already showed you how to avoid spoilers in Twitter and Facebook. And here is another extension that allows you to avoid them no matter where you are on the web.
Spoiler Alert for Chrome
First, install Spoiler Alert on Google Chrome. Then to start using it, you will need to sign in to the service. Then go through the list of shows you don’t want to see spoilers for and add them to the list.
After that hit the hamburger menu on the upper right corner and select Find Alerts.
Now when you start browsing the web, you will get warnings on a page when something that could have potential spoilers on it. For example, in in the shot below I had added Game of Thrones to my list. When I go to the Game of Thrones website, it gets completely blocked out. If you want to open the page, just click the button Show Me This Page Anyways.
Or if you go to a page that has information that could be spoilers, it will also block it out. In the example below, I went to the Game of Thrones Wikipedia page, and it blocked it out.
Give it a try and let us know how it works for you in the comment section below. Or, if you have a favorite Chrome extension that does something similar, let us kno that too! Comment Name * Email *
