The rumors of the new iPad 3 started hitting the internet this morning with the first post by the CNBC Twitter feed announcing its sources confirmed the iPad 3 would be unveiled in New York (The big Apple….) next week sporting a Quad-Cord processor and the much sought-after 4G LTE radio. Unfortunately for CNBC however, shortly after its scoop, other publishers began announcing they had received an invitation from Apple with an image of the new iPad 3 (as shown above) and the time and place for the unveiling – March 7th, 10AM PST @ Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco....

With the recent release of the Galaxy S2 and the iPhone 4S, AT&T is wielding a strong lineup of smartphones. The currently rumored AT&T phones are not close enough to release nor impressive enough to merit holding out for to purchase. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that AT&T is rolling out LTE to more cities 2012, so if you want the best 4G service and live in a planned rollout area, you may want to wait until they offer LTE smartphones....

Apple’s Latest Update for Apple TV brought a few new apps to the service. The one that caught this geek’s attention was Crunchyroll. It’s an app that gives users streams of several popular Japanese TV shows. Most of what’s available is animé. It’s what many folks Stateside call Japanese animation, or “Japanimation” if they aren’t familiar with it.
