Probably noticing that external services are already doing what the Facebook-owned company should have done, Instagram has announced it would offer user profiles. Using these couldn’t be easier. You just type instagram.com/useraccount (where “useraccount” is replaced by the name of your account). Unless the photos are set to private, you can view other user’s profiles without logging in. You can also add comments and like images straight from the web....

Photo Credit: Apple Monday, anyone with an iTunes account, a computer, and 10 bucks to spare could buy Photoshop Touch, the first Photoshop mobile product that can hold its head high in the presence of the desktop version. Some–like me–found that without first upgrading the OS to version 5, they couldn’t install the Photoshop. And I hope I’m not the only one who discovered that updating my operating system also carried a risk of losing apps, songs, movies or anything else I had installed on the iPad....

Normally, your Gmail tab would look something like this when you have, for example, the Sent Mail folder open. For an easy solution from Gmail Labs, go to Settings in the menu on the top right side of your Gmail account. At the top, click Labs. Then type: unread in the Search for a Lab box, and Unread Messages Icon comes up. Click Enable, then Save Changes. That’s it. Now, no matter what folder or message you have open, you’ll see a nice little counter of unread messages....

Some people might actually like this new view, but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, and you can change it. Microsoft Groove Music iOS If you don’t have automatic updates enabled for apps on your iOS device, just go launch the App Store and you’ll find the update. It works a lot like Xbox Music did, but with a huge additional feature. You can add your music files to your OneDrive — which is a feature Microsoft added to OneDrive earlier this year. Then those songs will appear as part of your collection, and you don’t need a Groove Music pass to use it....

Windows 10 20H1 Preview Build 18995 This build is introducing Windows Hello PIN in Safe Mode. Booting into Safe Mode only launches the minimum files and drivers to get Windows and your system running. It’s a great troubleshooting tool. And with 18995 Microsoft is “adding Windows Hello PIN sign-in support to Safe mode, so that you no longer have to rely on your password when troubleshooting your device.” The Your Phone app is gaining new features including the Link to Windows, Phone Screen, and Battery Level Indicator....

Adobe Flash Player Update KB4010250 This Flash Player vulnerability affects all operating systems and Adobe released updates to resolve the issues last week. Supported browsers like Chrome and Firefox have already been patched using their own auto-updating mechanisms. The problem is that Microsoft Edge was still vulnerable because of the delay as it relies on Microsoft’s regular Patch Tuesday to get updated. Luckily, the company released MS17-005 Security Update for Adobe Flash Player (4010250)....

Windows 10 Preview Build 18252 New Enhances settings for Ethernet include the ability to use the Settings app to configure advanced Ethernet IP settings. There is support for configuring a static IP and preferred DNS server. A new icon for disconnected internet is being introduced in this build as well – first seen on Always Connected PCs. The single icon appears when there is no data connection to cellular, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet....

Microsoft Update Adobe Flash Player Fix (KB3132372) According to Microsoft, this update fixes vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player in Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge for Windows 10 Version 1151 (November Update). The affected software includes Flash Player in IE 10 and IE 11 in Windows 8, 8.1, RT, Server 2012, and Windows 10 as well as Microsoft Edge in Windows 10. Office 2016 Preview Update Today Microsoft’s corporate vice president of the Office Client Applications Services Team, Kirk Koenigsbauer, wrote that the company would be adding features regularly for customers to test, and that “About a month ago, we invited anyone to participate in Office 2016 on Windows Preview.
